Gaillardia is one of the easiest to grow and brightest perennial daisies. Flowers have brilliantly coloured petals produced atop strong stems. Enjoy in the garden and as outstanding cut flowers. Plants are nearly maintenance-free.

Blanket flowers are hardy and also drought tolerant. They can be found in the wild from Flordia to Alaska in poor soils. Give them full sun and good drainage. Direct-sow seed where plants bloom in early spring, several weeks before the last frost date, or in fall to make green top growth for flowering extra early the following spring.
