  • Regular price $2.99

The blocky fruits of this disease-resistant selection of sweet bell pepper display three or four lobes that turn from glossy green to bright red. Eat them at either stage, sliced raw as crispy snacks and salad fixings, or cooked as a side dish. The large, hollow seed cavity can be stuffed with chopped meat, cheese and chopped onion for roasting to make delicious hot stuffed peppers.

Start seed indoors six to eight weeks before outdoor planting after frost danger in spring to obtain healthy transplants. Choose a sunny position and fertile, well-drained soil. Improve clay or sandy soils with compost. Growing through black plastic will promote high yields and earliness.
