Peas are a cool weather crop and can be sown from early April through to mid-May when the soil temperature is between 10-16C (50-60F)

This variety comes into production quickly, making it a good early crop. Plants grow about 30in (75cm) tall and are very productive. Very sweet, deep green peas that have a distinct superior flavour and are excellent fresh or for freezing. This is the standard by which all the others are graded!

Direct-sow seeds into permanent planting positions several weeks before the last spring frost date, as plants require cool conditions to mature. Also time plantings to mature during cool days of fall. Choose a sunny location and a fertile soil with good drainage.
