Lovely herb with beautiful, well-shaped leaves. The delightfully lemon scented plants are easy to grow and spread much like mint. Honeybees love it and are supposed to be “calmed” by it. The leaves are often used in salads, sauces, jellies, custards, fruit drinks, teas and potpourris.

Start seed indoors 6 - 8 weeks before planting outdoors several weeks before the last expected frost date to obtain healthy transplants. Choose a sunny location and soil with good drainage. Plants are an excellent component of herb gardens and they are easily divided to make more plants.
