One of the most popular eggplant varieties, this variety is known for its large, plump, deep purplish-black fruits. Plant grows 2ft - 3ft /60cm - 90cm tall and produces several fruits. Delicious fried, in casseroles and in several ethnic dishes. Plants are ornamental enough to use in the flower garden; good also in containers.
