This magnificent hardy perennial produces large, daisy flowers that have yellow button centres. Use them in mixed flower borders and massed in beds. Plants bloom all summer and are suitable for cutting. Individual flowers can measure up to 5 inches across.

Choose a sunny or lightly shaded location in fertile, well-drained soil. Improve clay or sandy soils with compost. For earliest blooms start seed indoors 6-8 weeks before outdoor planting after frost danger. Seed sown in later summer will produce a green crown of leaves for early spring flowering.
