Caraway plants produce aromatic, finely divided leaves and licorice seeds. Seeds are used to flavour baked goods, cheeses, soups, salads and meats. Grows to 3ft high, flowers the second season.

Choose a sunny location and fertile soil with good drainage. Direct sow seed in the fall for flowers the following season or in the spring several weeks before the last frost as the seedlings are hardy.
