The hybrid vigour of this cool-weather variety produces round, red beets on strong, disease-resistant, fast-growing plants which have a long harvest period. Excellent fresh, canned or pickled.

Beets grow best and the colour is the most intense in the cooler temperatures of late spring and early summer. Overwatering or excessive rainfall may lead to excessive leaf growth and pale or small roots. Beets can also be grown in containers.
