Good2GoCo Inc. is a rapidly growing Canadian owned and operated ecommerce company, specializing in emergency preparedness, outdoor living gear: camping, backpacking, hunting, and backyard solutions as well as homestead and off-grid products. Our head office and warehouses are in the beautiful Okanagan Valley in British Columbia.
We are looking for an experienced warehouse operations manager to execute daily warehouse responsibilities related to the ecommerce fulfillment as well as 3PL operations. The Warehouse Operations Manager, reporting directly to the CEO will be responsible to deliver operations leadership across our warehouse locations, as work collaboratively with the CEO to implement 3PL services.
Good2GoCo has experienced explosive growth over four years, and we are now adding 3rd-Party Logistics in our warehouse which is over 60,000 sq ft. We will be offering storage, distribution order fulfillment, product co-packing, transportation management and a complete array of 3PL services to a wide range of industries and markets.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead strong and capable teams of warehouse operators and support staff 
  • Effective warehouse space management, maximizing square footage 
  • Efficient use of time, achieving high levels of accuracy in all key target areas
  • Security and safeguarding of client inventory and all company assets 
  • Proper utilization of systems, standard operating procedures, and scope of work definitions 
  • Teach, coach and cultivate excellence in warehouse team
  • Ensure client requirements are understood, and that resources are aligned to achieve expectations.
  • Ensure company policies and standard operating procedures (SOP) are understood and are regularly inspected for compliance. 
  • Monitor daily/weekly performance of warehouse staff to ensure work is being completed effectively
  • Complete weekly workload planning, make sure all deadlines are achieved 
  • Inspect processes and ensure offsite issues are investigated and resolved:
    • inventory cycle counting
    • locator maintenance
    • appointment log
    • quarantine log
    • claims log
  • Ensure adherence to the Safety program to ensure a safe workplace; reducing WCB premiums and complying with individual 3PL customer required safety criteria 
  • Manage all assets, ensure that support is provided to warehouses for maintenance logs/recaps, inspect that preventive maintenance programs are effective, and provide recommendations for new/replacement assets. 

Requirements for the Position

  • Education in supply chain, logistics, industrial engineering, or related discipline
  • 10+ years of experience managing in ecommerce fulfillment, 3PL, supply chain, warehousing and distribution
  • Strong communication skills are essential
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen sense of attention to detail
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to develop and mentor others.
  • Leads by encouraging innovative change and creative problem-solving within a team culture.
  • A strong work ethic and a lead-by-example management style to meet fast-paced high demands
  • Competent computer skills on all common programs plus knowledge and experience with Warehouse Management Systems for inventory/location controls.
