How to Freeze Dry Onions
Let's freeze dry onions in a large Harvest Right Home Freeze Dryer! The thing you need to know about freeze drying onions, or anything with a strong smell, is that you will need to know what your plan & schedule is for freeze drying. If you don't mind your next batch of food taking on a bit of that onions taste/aroma, then you are good to go! However, if you are freeze drying something like strawberries or milk, and you don't want it to taste like onions, you may want to consider filtering your pump oil.
